The Gala Dinner offers a wonderful opportunity for attendees and accompanying persons to relax and connect in a unique setting: "La Nautique" restaurant, located on the Nautical Society of Marseille’s ship.

Overlooking the water and the sailboats moored in the old harbour of Marseille (the “Vieux-Port”), the restaurant offers splendid views of Fort Saint-Jean and Saint-Nicolas, the Pharo Palace and the famous Canebière avenue. On board, in a wooded and contemporary décor, guests will appreciate a Mediterranean haute cuisine.

In the very heart of Marseille, La Nautique is just at a 10 minute walk from the Pharo Palace. Enjoy fine drinks and the views from the upper deck.

Taste the traditional and refined food prepared by the Chef. Inspired by Mediterranean recipes, his haute cuisine offers a delight of colours and flavours.

Focus on the Venue

Explore the history of the "Société Nautique ofr Marseille". Models and other navigation instruments exhibited on board trace more than a century of naval presence in the famous port of Marseille.
Some important dates:
1887 – Creation of the "Société Nautique de Marseille" (SNM) by a group of sailors from the Society of Regatta of Marseille formed in 1862.
1897 – Building of the Nautical Society ship (the "Pavillon Flottant"). Rebuilt in 1957 after a fire.
1911 – The "Société Nautique de Marseille" joins the Union of Nautical Societies of the Mediterranean
1965 – Creation of the Semaine Nautique Internationale de Marseille (International week of SNM).
2007 – The ship is registered in the French Historical Monuments Records.
